Fewer, longer visits
The first trip covers the free assessment and the cast. The second is the test socket. The third is the final fitting with a longer training session. Follow-up questions can usually be answered from WhatsApp photos, so you only drive in when something needs hands-on adjustment.
The drive in
The Super Highway into the city is quick at quiet times and slow at busy ones. Travel early or mid-morning where you can, bring a cushion to rest the stump, and stop if the patient needs to stretch. Call us from the road if you are delayed.
New homes, set up for a new leg
Newly built homes are a chance to get things right: a ground-floor bedroom for the first months, a walk-in shower with a stool and a grab rail, and no loose rugs. If your parent will walk in the gardens and wide streets, a multiaxial foot copes well with kerbs and slopes.
