Getting back to work and study
Many amputations in younger adults follow road accidents. For someone keen to return to work or university, the right plan often starts with a well-fitted socket and a dynamic or carbon fibre foot, and moves fast through training. Being next door means extra practice sessions are easy to add.
High-rise living
Jauhar is a district of tall apartment blocks. When the lift stops during load-shedding, stairs are the only way home. We practise stairs and getting in and out of lifts at the clinic, and we check the foot and knee settings on stairs as well as on the flat.

Getting active again
Cricket, the gym and running are all possible with the right leg and gradual training. A carbon foot suits most active users; a running blade is a second leg for running itself. Tell us what you want to do and we will plan towards it.
