Getting to the clinic from Nazimabad
The clinic is east of you on Main University Road. Most patients come by car, rickshaw or ride-hailing app with a family member. Call before you set off and we will confirm the time.
Older homes, steps and courtyards
Steps up to the front door, a courtyard floor that is slippery after washing, and a bathroom up a short flight of stairs are everyday challenges in older houses. We practise steps in training and suggest simple changes at home, such as a rail by the front steps and a non-slip mat in the courtyard.

Protecting the other foot
After a diabetic amputation, the other foot carries more weight and is at higher risk. Check it daily, never walk barefoot, wear soft roomy shoes and see your doctor early for any sore. If toes or part of a foot have been lost, a partial foot prosthesis protects what remains.
