Getting to Karachi from Khuzdar
The N-25 runs south from Khuzdar through the hills to Hub and Karachi. It carries heavy traffic, including long-distance lorries, so travel in daylight, plan rest stops, and keep the stump comfortable on the way.
Road accidents and amputation
Busy highways like the N-25 see serious accidents, and road injuries are one of the causes of leg amputation in the region. After a traumatic amputation, the stump may have scars or grafts that need a carefully shaped socket and a soft liner. We see you before deciding.
One stay, or two shorter trips
Most families stay in Karachi for the visits. If a long stay is difficult, a temporary leg can split the work into two shorter trips: the first to be fitted and start walking, the second for the final socket once the stump has settled.
Feet for rough ground
Rocky lanes and hillsides are hard on a solid foot. A multiaxial foot adapts to uneven ground and reduces twisting at the stump. We choose the foot once we know how and where you walk.
